Vallace also asked Vincent to take his wife Mia (Uma Thurman) with her a few days later when Vallace herself was out of town. Butch Coolidge (Bruce Willis) is an elderly boxer who pays Vallace for a loss. The lives of these seemingly unrelated people are intertwined and consist of a series of funny, strange and uninvited events.
